Benchmark Wine Group has partnered with Florida based non-profit organization Pass The Wine to raise money for children through collectible wine.
Mark Gardner M.D., founder of Pass The Wine, has successfully united his life-long goal of addressing children’s health issues with his passion for fine wine. This month Pass The Wine will initiate the acceptance of well stored fine and rare wine donations. Benchmark Wine Group will work with donors to handle the collection of donated wine and will find buyers to generate proceeds for the charitable work of Pass The Wine. To donate well stored bottles of fine and collectible wine and receive a tax deduction, collectors can go to www.passthewine.org and pledge the bottles they would like to contribute. They will be contacted regarding the value of their donation based on the auction valuation database of Benchmark’s affiliate The Wine Market Journal (www.winemarketjournal.com) and will be provided with all packing and shipping information. Benchmark will thoroughly inspect all donated wines and offer bottles in excellent condition to collectors. Proceeds will then be sent to Pass The Wine for charitable work.

Kids in Distress Kids In Distress is a community-supported agency providing services for the prevention and treatment of child abuse in South Florida. KID's programs offer a continuum of care and essential services to child victims and children and families at risk for abuse and neglect. San Luis Obispo Community Foundation The San Luis Obispo County Community Foundation is a public trust established to assist donors in building an enduring source of charitable funds to meet the changing needs and interests of the community. Pass The Wine is targeting funds within this charity specifically to aid the children of migrant farm workers.
