Under the direction of historical Napa winemaker Andre Tchelistcheff, Richard Thornton Boswell launched his esteemed winery in 1979 devoted only to the noble Cabernet Sauvignon of the Napa Valley. Nestled on the famous Silverado Trail in St. Helena, the nearly 40 year old estate is led by consulting winemaker Philippe Melka. He focuses on old-world style, minimal intervention winemaking methods, and sources fruit from some of the most premium vineyards in Oakville. The portfolio at Chateau Boswell is known for their rounded and opulent style, making them wonderful for aging.
