Intense, pure, powerful, and focused are some of the words that describe Jérôme Prévost's transparent and site-specific wines. La Closerie was founded in 1998 after taking over his grandmother’s two-hectare vineyard of Les Beguines, planted with Meunier in the Montagne de Reims. While the main production is the Meunier-based Les Béguines, he also makes minuscule quantities of a fascinating rosé Champagne called Fac-simile from a small parcel of virused vines within Les Béguines.
