Howell Mountain has been making history since the late 1800s. Howell Mountain became Napa Valley's first sub-appellation to become a designated American Viticultural Area (AVA) in 1983. This mountainous nested region has amazing climate conditions for producing principal varieties such as cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and zinfandel.
There are many notable wineries within this region. To name a couple, La Jota Vineyard was among the first places to plant seeds in the late 1800s. Dunn is known for having 100% Cabernet with an iconic earthy style allowing the grapes to rest in an oak barrel for 3 years. Howell Mountain has a reputable status that has stood the test of time.
Cheers to the wines of Howell Mountain. Check out these offers while they last.
