The project stands as Jayson Woodbridge’s love letter to California’s bucolic Sonoma Coast. This collection of wines hails from micro-vineyards hand-selected from across the western reaches of Sonoma’s rugged coast. High-end, carefully made, small lot Pinot Noir and a micro-production of Chardonnay promise to seduce the most ardent fans of Jayson’s work.   Is it a departure from the Bordeaux-driven wines for which Hundred Acre and Fortunate Son are well known? Yes. And happily, it comes with the same attention, commitment, and obsession that Jayson brings to all of his work. Each wine is from hillside vineyard sites chosen for their generous slope and unique sequences of Goldridge soil. Goldridge soils are rare and Jayson’s long obsession with their gift to terroir lies at the heart of his selection. The fine-grained sandy loam is known for excellent drainage and a characteristically light and fluffy texture.
