One of the premier wine producers in the Napa Valley, Blankiet Estate, was founded in 1996 on 46 acres on volcanic hills in the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains, above the town of Yountville.  The wines created from the fruit of their Parasdise Hills Vineyard, are ranked among the best, and wine writers have listed Blankiet along with Harlan, Bond and Screaming Eagle as one of Napa’s most spectacular wines.   The founders, Claude and Katherine Blankiet, vision was to produce wines in the tradition of the great Bordeaux First Growth, and Robert Parker stated in his buying guide “The goal to produce world-class wines at Blankiet Estate has been accomplished, combining the extraordinary power of the site with unbelievable elegance and definition”    The people involved with helping create Blankiet wines, are some of the superstars of the Napa Valley, including winemaker Helen Turley, and viticulturist David Abreu.  Blankiet Estate produces a very limited supply of wines each year, and Benchmark Wine Group offers a wide selection of vintages.
