The Greatest Red Wine Region in Italy

Barolo: A Selection of the Greatest

Make room for the cream of the crop, because Barolo is a bold classic that is here to stay.  Produced in the “foot of the mountain” Italy, Piedmont. Barolo is full-bodied with strong acidity and strong tannins due to their red grape variety Nebbiolo. Barlo is exclusively made from Nebbiolo which is the last grape to be picked during harvest.  As described by Danilo Drocco, Fontanafredda winemaker related Barolo to “a lovely person who needs to be discovered little by little. Every time you open a bottle of Barolo, it gives off unique emotions and sensations.”  Let’s continue to discover each flavor of this enriching wine.
