Rhys Vineyards is relatively new to the game compared to other “cult” Pinot Noir producers in California, however they have very quickly become known for making these high quality, terroir driven wine in very small quantities. Their wines (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah) are made from seven distinctive vineyard locations primarily in the Santa Cruz Mountains (an area sorely underestimated for premium wine growing). The diverse soils, costal influence here combined with all native fermentation and minimal winemaking influence help to showcase some of the most pure Pinot Noir from California we have ever tasted.
