Proper storage won't save you if you miss the mark on when to cut through that capsule, pop open the cork, and enjoy one of Man’s greatest creations. Now I must admit, I might be the most impatient person on Earth. Awaiting your favorite wine to reach its peak drinking window has proven difficult for many. I for one almost always end up opening wine from my cellar just ahead of peak form. For those of you building out your cellar, waiting for the right moment to enjoy that special bottle, I give you all the praise in the world. For my fellow impatient connoisseurs, I'm happy to lend a helping hand in this struggle with a fantastic selection of ready-to-enjoy wine from Northern California's Sonoma region.    For many of Sonoma's Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, their prime consumption window hits early on in the aging process. A great example is the 2017 vintage. This wonderful vintage exhibits a harmonious balance of fruitiness, acidity, and complexity, making it particularly appealing for immediate enjoyment. Pinot Noir from this year showcases vibrant red fruit flavors, silky tannins, and a subtle earthy undertone, while Chardonnay presents itself with a delightful blend of ripe citrus, creamy textures, and refreshing acidity.
