One of our favorite Cabernet producers from Napa are the wines from Scarecrow.  The name “Scarecrow” is a tribute to J.J. Cohn, the original owner of the vineyard land where the grapes are grown. He wasn’t just a landowner—he was a major Hollywood executive at MGM Studios and played a key role in producing The Wizard of Oz.

Scarecrow has established itself as a cult wine, with its limited availability and high demand leading to rapid sell-outs upon release. Notably, the 2015 vintage was named "Best Wine in the World" for 2019 by Vivino, based on extensive user reviews.​

There are also several older vintages available, along with magnums from a variety of vintages.  Take advantage of this opportunity to add some Scarecrow wines to your cellar.
