Super Tuscan Blends reflect the rich history of Italian wine innovation that traces back to the late 20th century when winemakers began experimenting by blending traditional Italian grape varieties with international ones. These wines didn’t conform to this region's traditional classifications. The term "Super Tuscan" emerged to describe these unique blends, often made using grape varietals such as Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, resulting in a new category of Italian wine. As they say, the rest is history!
Aromas of dark fruits, spices, and hints of oak greet the nose, while the taste unfolds with rich, velvety textures and an explosive introduction of rich fruit flavors. Super Tuscans are known for their elegance, structure, and exceptional aging potential, making every sip a delightful and memorable exploration of Italian winemaking.
