For the past three decades, Schrader Cellars has established a reputation for producing some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon wines in the Napa Valley.  Schrader began with the renowned winemaking team of Helen Turley and John Wetlaufer, producing wines for the now legendary Schrader-Colgin Cellars.  Fred Schrader went on to open Schrader Cellars in 1998, with winemaker Thomas Brown producing wines from grapes grown exclusively on Napa Valley’s most prestigious and historic estates.  These vineyards include premier blocks in Oakville and Stags Leap, featuring Napa vineyard legends such as To Kalon and Wappo Hill.  The wines are notable as full-bodied, concentrated purple and black fruit, balanced with elegant floral and spice notes, and supple texture.   Today Schrader Cellars is recognized as a world class producer of Cabernet Sauvignon, and boasts “perfect 100 point scores from top wine reviewers – more than any other winery in the Napa Valley.”  The wines are highly sought after by collectors, and Benchmark is able to offer many Schrader Cellars selections, including more than ten 100 point wines, scored by Wine Advocate, other writers.  The selections include Schrader’s Double Diamond label, as well as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Boars’ View.
