In 1967, the son of a biscuit maker with very little winemaking experience, purchased Domaine Graillet in the heart of Morey-St-Denis in Burgundy. This gentleman Jacques Seysses, not Burgundian by birth, cleverly renamed the property, Domaine Dujac, a play on his own name, Domaine du Jacques. Since its inception, Dujac wines slowly gained acclaim and recognition for their silky nature, layered profile, and overall superb quality.
