Barrett & Barrett

Known as a superstar winemaking couple and married for 40 years, Bo and Heidi Barrett have finally teamed up for their first collaborative wine project. Bo Barrett has led his family's winery, Chateau Montelena, since 1982 as winemaker, and became CEO in 2008. Chateau Montelena's Chardonnay famously won The Judgement of Paris in 1976, which was later dramatized in the film Bottle Shock (Bo was portrayed by Chris Pine). Heidi Barrett grew up in Napa Valley and was raised in a winemaking family, and was destined to become one of the world's most acclaimed winemakers. Known as the "First Lady of Wine", she has made wine for over two dozen Napa wineries in her storied career, received numerous 100-point scores for her wines, and started her own brand, La Sirena, in 1994. Barrett and Barrett Cabernet is grown in one special parcel of the Barrett Estate Vineyards, planted on alluvial soil in 2008. The site is just up the road from Chateau Montelena, an area where Bo has deep viticultural knowledge. Barrett & Barrett was launched in 2008, and each vintage proves once again why Bo & Heidi are considered Napa Valley legends.
