Ackerman Family Vineyards

Ackerman Family Vineyards began in 1994, when Lauren Ackerman purchased a 16-acre vineyard property in Coombsville, then a relatively undiscovered corner of Napa Valley. Inspired by the area's cooler climate and its ability to produce elegant, Bordeaux-influenced wines, Ackerman began making wine in 1995 and released the estate's first commercial Cabernet Sauvignon from the 2003 vintage.

The winery's Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Stonehaven Vineyard, an organically farmed estate distinguished by Coombsville's cool temperatures and extended growing season. In 2009, the vineyard became the first California Certified Organic Farm within the Coombsville appellation. Ackerman Family Vineyards produces balanced, expressive wines that combine Napa Valley fruit with structure, complexity, and a refined sense of place.
