Abeja

Abeja was founded by Ken and Ginger Harrison, who arrived in the Walla Walla Valley during the late 1990s in search of an exceptional site for Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2000, they acquired a historic farmstead near the foothills of the Blue Mountains and began transforming it into a winery, vineyard, and wine-country retreat. Abeja, pronounced "ah-BAY-ha," means bee in Spanish and reflects the winery's respect for the environment and belief in the power of community.

Abeja produces acclaimed Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and limited-production estate wines under winemakers Daniel Wampfler and Amy Alvarez-Wampfler. Its sustainably farmed Skysill, Heather Hill, and Mill Creek estate vineyards capture several distinct expressions of the Walla Walla Valley. The resulting wines combine vibrant fruit, natural acidity, structure, and the ability to age.
