Domaine Alain Burguet

Alain Burguet established his domaine in Gevrey-Chambertin after purchasing his first vineyards in 1974. Starting without inherited holdings, he assembled the estate parcel by parcel and developed a reputation for expressive Pinot Noir rooted in the character of the Côte de Nuits. His sons, Jean-Luc and Eric, joined the domaine in 1999 and assumed responsibility following Alain’s retirement in 2011.

Jean-Luc Burguet now leads the estate, continuing the family’s focus on sustainable viticulture, late harvesting, and minimal-intervention winemaking. The domaine produces Bourgogne Rouge, Gevrey-Chambertin, and Premier Cru wines from renowned sites including Les Champeaux and Lavaux Saint-Jacques. The wines are generally unfined and unfiltered, offering generous fruit, refined structure, and a clear expression of their individual terroirs.
