Originally founded in 1865, Maison Camille Giroud was one of the last of the small negociants specializing in "vins de garde", Bourgogne Rouges that need ten to fifteen years to mature, before an American Group headed by Ann Colgin and Joe Wender took over in 2002. They instilled David Croix as winemaker to craft the Burgundian wines.
