Antinori

The Antinori family has been involved in winemaking since 1385, when Giovanni di Piero Antinori joined the Florentine Winemakers’ Guild. More than six centuries and 26 generations later, Marchesi Antinori remains family managed, led by Albiera, Allegra and Alessia Antinori with the support of Renzo Cotarella.

Antinori’s estates extend across several of Italy’s most important wine regions, but Tuscany remains central to its identity. At Tenuta Tignanello in Chianti Classico, the family created Tignanello and Solaia, two wines that helped redefine modern Italian winemaking by uniting native Sangiovese with innovative techniques and international varieties. The broader portfolio includes celebrated wines from Bolgheri, Montalcino, Umbria, Piedmont and beyond.
