Agave Rose Vineyards

Agave Rose Vineyard is a 1.09-acre property located at the northern end of the Rutherford Bench in Napa Valley. The vineyard was planted to Cabernet Sauvignon in 1999 by respected vineyardist Jim Barbour, whose work helped establish this small site as a source of distinctive, exceptionally limited fruit.

Beginning with the 2004 vintage, grapes from Agave Rose Vineyard became the foundation of Jack Quinn Cabernet Sauvignon. The inaugural wine was created by Andy Erickson and Benoit Touquette, with Touquette continuing as winemaker for subsequent vintages. Produced in quantities often measured in only a few hundred cases, the wines combine ripe dark fruit, refined tannins and the structure associated with Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon.
