Domaine Eugenie

Formed in 2006 from the respected vineyards of Domaine Rene Engel after the death of proprietor Philippe Engel, Domaine Eugenie is a modern producer located in Burgundy’s Vosne-Romanée region. The domaine is managed by Frederic Engerer who also manages Chateau Latour, and produces six wines from five appellations including Clos-Vougeot, Échezeaux, Grands-Échezeaux, Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru “Aux Brûlées”, Vosne-Romanée Village “Clos d'Eugénie,” and Vosne-Romanée Village. Since 2009 many of the vineyards have begun the process of converting to biodynamic farming practices. That same year the domaine left its temporary cuverie and moved to the site of what was previously Clos Frantin in Vosne-Romanée, upgraded all of the facilities, and renamed the monopole vineyard to Clos d'Eugénie.
