Antiqv2s

Antiqv2s was established in 2001 by Master Sommelier Emmanuel Kemiji as a Syrah-focused counterpart to his Miura Vineyards label. Kemiji founded Miura in 1995 after a distinguished career in wine service, becoming the twelfth American to earn the Master Sommelier title.

Working with winemaker Byron Kosuge, Antiqv2s sourced fruit from Garys’ Vineyard and Pisoni Vineyard in California’s Santa Lucia Highlands. The region’s long, cool growing season allowed Syrah to develop generous dark fruit, spice and depth while retaining freshness and structure. Produced in limited quantities, these vineyard-designated wines have become increasingly uncommon on the secondary market.
