Central Coast native Aaron Jackson founded his namesake winery in 2002 while studying wine at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. Inspired by the untapped potential of his home region, Jackson set out to produce powerful, age-worthy wines that offer an unconventional expression of California's Central Coast.

Aaron Wines is best known for Petite Sirah and Rhône-inspired blends sourced from the rugged hillsides of western Paso Robles, including vineyards in the Willow Creek, Adelaida, and Templeton Gap districts. Jackson also produces Pinot Noir and white wines under the AKANA label using cool-climate vineyards near the Pacific Ocean in the San Luis Obispo Coast AVA. Across both labels, his wines emphasize authenticity, balance, and a strong sense of place.
