Adrien Renoir

Adrien Renoir represents the fourth generation of his family to grow wine in Verzy, a Grand Cru village on the northern edge of Champagne's Montagne de Reims. He began taking responsibility for the family domaine in 2014, assumed full control in 2016, and began bottling the Champagnes exclusively under his own name in 2019.

Renoir works with organically farmed estate vineyards planted primarily to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on Verzy's chalk and clay-limestone soils. In the cellar, he favors native-yeast fermentation, neutral oak, extended lees aging, and low dosage. Cuvées such as Le Terroir, Le Cépage, Les Montants, Les Epinettes, and Les Vignes Goisses highlight both the character of Verzy and the individuality of the family's old-vine parcels.
