A personal favorite, Harlan Estate, located in the heart of Napa Valley's Oakville region, is regarded as one of the finest red wines globally.  Robert Parker wrote in the Wine Advocate - “Harlan Estate might be the single most profound red wine made not just in California, but in the world”, and the Harlan Estate 2016 was recently named the #1 Napa Valley Cabernet by the Robb Report.

Launched in 1984 to create a California equivalent to Bordeaux's top wines, it quickly gained international acclaim. The estate's winemaking philosophy emphasizes the importance of land and terroir. Harlan produces both its flagship wine and a second label, The Maiden.

In 1997, Harlan founded BOND with winemaker Bob Levy, and the Promontory Winery was founded in 2008 by the Harlan family.  All three Harlan properties have earned legendary, cult-status reputations.
