Insignia, an original California "Bordeaux Blend" emphasizes the importance of blending over varietal designation as a determinate of quality. Sourced from seven Napa Valley estate vineyards, Insignia captures the unique nuances of microclimates across AVAs. This climate variation among the vineyards allows for remarkable complexity of flavor and texture in the finished wine. The 2021 vintage blends 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec, and 2% Cabernet Franc. 2021 was a standout vintage in Napa and is reminiscent of the 2015 harvest with its concentration, low yields, and small berries.
