Archery Summit

Archery Summit was founded by Gary Andrus in 1993 with the goal of producing vineyard-driven Pinot Noir in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. He selected the Dundee Hills for its cool climate, elevated terrain, and iron-rich volcanic soils, establishing the winery before the area gained official recognition as an American Viticultural Area.

The estate works with five Dundee Hills vineyards: Arcus, Red Hills, Archer’s Edge, Renegade Ridge, and Summit. Each site is bottled to express its individual soils, elevation, and exposure. Built into the hillside, Archery Summit’s five-level gravity-flow winery moves the delicate fruit from sorting to fermentation and aging without pumps, while subterranean caves provide naturally cool conditions for maturation.
